How Much Does a Website Cost in Thailand in 2026?
A custom-coded business website in Bangkok costs from ฿25,000; a website that runs a booking, ordering or lead-qualification system costs from ฿50,000. Those are our fixed starting prices, published on our pricing page, and they are a fair anchor for what custom work costs in Thailand. Anything cheaper is almost always a template; anything much more expensive should come with a scope that explains why.
The useful question is not "how much is a website" but "what does this website have to do". That is what actually moves the price.
What a Website Costs, by What It Does
A brochure-plus site (from ฿25,000 at Bluewich). Up to five pages that explain what you do, show prices or services, and turn visits into LINE messages or form enquiries. Thai and English on-page SEO, Google Business Profile setup, Search Console and analytics. This is the right starting point for most service businesses.
A site that takes bookings, orders or qualified leads (from ฿50,000). Everything above, plus a real system behind it: an online booking or ordering flow, an admin dashboard, a lead database, and automatic alerts to LINE or email. Clinic booking sites and restaurant sites with LINE booking sit here. So does most work that involves PromptPay or card payments.
Multi-location, multi-site or ongoing growth (custom quote). Several branches each needing their own local pages, several sites, or a monthly programme of content and SEO with reporting. Priced by scope.
Why Do Web Design Prices in Thailand Vary So Much?
Three things explain most of the gap between quotes:
- Template vs custom code. A Wix, Shopify-theme or WordPress-template site can look cheap up front but stacks monthly plugin, theme and hosting fees for years. A custom Next.js site costs more once and has no plugin licences to renew.
- Scope. A static site is a different job from a site with logins, bookings or payments. The backend and database work is where most of the price difference comes from.
- Who does the work. A large agency has account managers, designers and project managers in the price. A small senior team has less overhead. Neither is automatically better — but you should know which you are paying for.
What Should Every Quote Include?
Any Bangkok website quote worth paying for should state, in writing:
- Mobile-first design — most Thai traffic is on phones.
- SEO structure from day one: titles, descriptions, headings, schema, sitemap, and Search Console set up.
- Thai and English handled properly if you need both (separate URLs and hreflang, not a translate button).
- A working enquiry path — LINE, form or booking — that has been tested end to end.
- Load-time targets on mobile data, not just on office Wi-Fi.
- Who owns the code, the domain and the hosting account (it should be you).
- A post-launch support window, and what happens after it.
If a quote is missing any of these, it isn't cheaper — it is deferring cost to later.
What Does a Website Cost Per Year?
The build price is only part of the cost. Budget every year for:
- Domain renewal — a .com or .co.th renews yearly.
- Hosting — static and Next.js sites can run on inexpensive hosting; sites with databases need more.
- Paid plugins or themes — mostly a WordPress cost, often per year.
- LINE OA plan if you send pushed messages beyond the free quota.
- Updates and content — either your team's time or a maintenance arrangement.
Ask every agency for the full yearly running cost before you sign. It is the line most often missing from a quote, and the one that makes a cheap template expensive over three years.
Is There a Cheaper Option Than ฿25,000?
For custom-coded and SEO-ready, realistically no. Below that price usually means a page-builder template with none of the performance or search advantages, often with monthly fees that make it more expensive over two to three years. If budget is a hard limit, tell the agency your real scope and budget and let them say what fits — a good one will tell you honestly when a template is the right answer.
How Should You Compare Two Quotes?
Put them side by side and check, line by line: the number of pages and what each one is for; whether Thai and English are both included; what the enquiry or booking path is; what is included in SEO; who owns what; yearly running costs; and what support looks like after launch. Quotes that look far apart often turn out to be for different things.

Frequently asked questions
How much does web design cost in Thailand?
It depends far more on what the site must do than on the number of pages. At Bluewich a custom-coded business site of up to 5 pages with Thai and English SEO starts at ฿25,000; a site with a booking, ordering or qualification flow, admin dashboard and lead alerts starts at ฿50,000; multi-location or ongoing programmes are quoted per scope. Template sites can be cheaper up front but usually carry recurring theme, plugin and hosting costs.
What are the yearly costs of running a website in Thailand?
At minimum a domain name, renewed yearly, and hosting. A static or Next.js site can run on low-cost hosting; a site with a database, bookings or user accounts needs a server or database plan on top. Ask every agency for the full yearly running cost in writing — it is the number most often left out of a quote.
Is a bilingual Thai–English website more expensive?
Yes, because it is two sets of pages, not a translation plugin: separate URLs per language, hreflang tags so Google shows the right version, and content that is written for how Thai people actually search. Our Foundation tier already includes Thai and English on-page SEO.
Do website prices in Thailand include VAT?
Not always. Thai VAT is 7%, and some agencies quote before VAT and some after. Ask explicitly, and ask for a tax invoice if your company needs one.
How long does it take to build a business website in Bangkok?
A focused business site typically takes two to four weeks from kickoff, and the most common delay is content — photos, prices and texts — rather than development. Sites with booking flows or integrations take longer.
